Sparkle Art Workshop 2012.....Welcome Art Girls!
Such a fun group of girlies! We had the BEST time creating funky fleece scarves, glittery hair pins, and beaded bracelets. Just take a look at these models!
Our favorite helpers, Grace and Emily were there to help out!
We made darling hair clips with lots of glitter and gems.
After a bit of waiting...
They were dry and ready!
The scarves were so much fun to make. The girls used an assortment of four polar fleece prints. The sewing machine station kept all the girls busy.
Each layer needed to be cut carefully.
What did we do with the extra fabric scraps?? Headbands of course!
The creativity of my art girls always amazes me.
Next, we beaded like crazy! We made double strands of bracelets and wrapped them around our wrists. We also used fleece scraps and made stretchy fabric bracelets.
Hurry for cupcakes and strawberry fizzy punch! Our day ended with a treat. We reflected on the day, and thought of new crafts to do during the winter season.
