Art Camp 2012 Registration Information

It's time for Mrs. Mitrani's 4th Annual Art Camp for Girls!

Check out the current issue of Create With Me Magazine! Our art camp is featured in a four page spread! How exciting!

Registration for the 2012 camp has started!!

Below are descriptions for each day of camp. If interested, please email me with desired session at mendytexasart@yahoo.com. I will then attach by email: a registration form, camp details, photo release, and payment form.

This year we'll be dabbling in ink, paint, machine sewing, steel stamps, glitter, beading, fleece, fabric, and so much more!

Session One (grades 3-5):
June 11-15.....9:00 am-noon$140 plus $30 art supply fee
Refreshments Included

Projects Include:
Machine Stitched Ruffled Aprons
Organization Jars
Beaded Bracelets
Pretty Smile Lip Gloss
Paper and Fabric Flowers in a Pouch
Self Portrait Painted Hearts
Texas Rodeo Cowgirl Sash and Cowgirl Tea Party

June 11-15....1:00-4:00pm $140 plus $30 art supply fee

3-D Paper Dresses on Canvas
Rodeo Cowgirl Big Texas Mums and Cowgirl Tea Party

***Students may sign up for both sessions--Projects will be completely different. Each session will feature a Cowgirl Rodeo Tea Party celebrating friendship and Girl Power!

***Students signing up for both sessions may stay and enjoy a "tea-party" style lunch while viewing "vintage" cartoons from 12:00-1:00. $25 for the week. Please note that this is only offered for those going all day.
Camp fees are not refundable. Art supplies will be given on missed days.

Art Camp 2012!

Summer is just around the corner, and Mrs. Mitrani's Art Camp for Girls will be here before you know it!

Summer 2012 Camp will be June 11-15. We will have a morning and afternoon session each day. Our week will once again be filled with glitter, paint, and so much more!

We're Published!!!

We are THRILLED to be featured in this issue of Somerset's Create With Me magazine!! It's a four page article featuring ALL of my camp girls from last summer. Thank you art girls for making this happen!!

What a great way to share the holidays!!

Sparkle Art Workshop 2011!

Our Sparkle Art Workshop was so much fun! We dashed into action making darling identification metal bracelets with brightly colored beads. We then used the sewing machine to make a soft pouch for them! Making holiday hangers were next. Using the Big Shot machine was huge hit! We ended our workshop creating beautiful "party" girls with sketch pencils.

Matilda Pearl made an entrance...she loved everyone!

Cupcakes and Lemonade Punch were waiting for us at the end!

Sparkle Art Workshop and Cupcake Party!

Mrs. Mitrani's Sparkle Art Workshop and Cupcake Party will be offered on December 3rd from 1:00-4:00pm. The three hour workshop is $35. All supplies/materials are included.

We will be making personalized metal ID bracelets with lots of bling bling!! A soft personalized pouch will hold our jewels. We'll top off the afternoon making some fabulous holiday cards.

Great News Artists!!

Hurray Hurray!! Mrs. Mitrani's Art Camp will be published once again!

This time, June's camp will be featured in a new Stampington/Somerset Studio publication called Create With Me. I just examined the very first issue today at Michaels. It's an amazing, very high quality quarterly magazine. The entire magazine features children and the art they create.

The article should be in the January issue. I will let you know the minute I receive my copy!
