Our Tea Party Art Day!

Today's art workshop was incredible!! We spent our last day together making darling party hats and fun charm bracelets!

We used tulle, charms, balloons, beads, feathers and of course GLITTER to make our fascinators look fabulous!

Our charms were made individually, using "Alice in Wonderland" stamps, inks, and shrink plastic. We set them on jump rings and added them on to a charm bracelet. Lovely!

Our time together ended with a cupcake tea party.

What a Wednesday! Busy Busy Girls!

We had a spectacular time today!! We made precious pillows out of our hand-embroidered muslin squares!

We created amazing self-portrait posters using photos from this week. They were so much fun to make!

We also finished our HUGE sewing project today...our beautiful tea party dresses! They were so much fun, we decided that they needed a very special hanger!

Our art girls enjoyed our day. We are ready for our dress-up tea party tomorrow!

Time for Tuesday Arts and Crafts!

Awesome Tuesday with the girls!

We spent the first part of our day creating tea fairy collages. We painted with peach tea bags, and used damp tea bags for "painted" backgrounds.  We continued working with our muslin embroidery...some interested in starting their third hooped project!

Both groups continued on our huge sewing project! Each girl did a "reveal" of her completed dress! (The dresses will be taken home Wednesday, and worn at our tea party on Thursday.)

Tuesday was also "Spa Day" for the girls! We mixed and measured ingredients to make amazing natural bath and body products.

The morning session made an invigoration all natural orange sugar scrub!
The afternoon session made lavender soothing bath bombs!
Of course we tested out our products. Each was a hit!

Our adventure continues tomorrow!!

Welcome Art Friends!!

All smiles today from my artist friends! Morning and afternoon sessions had a blast starting their artist notebooks, creating some awesome tea and cake collages, and painting tea cups and saucers! Our sewing skills took flight as we began designing our one-of-a-kind summer tea party dresses!

Fabrics, tulle, paints, inks, stamps, embroidery hoops, puff balls, rhinestones, markers, tea cups and saucers...OH MY!
