Tea Party and Goodbye Hugs

Our week long art journey has come to an end...

We celebrated ALL day with a paper doll swap in the morning, and a friendship paper bag autograph swap in the afternoon.

Both sessions completed "Round Robins." Each child created something for everyone in class. We all traded at our end of camp party!

I have really enjoyed the two sessions of Art Camp. I am so impressed with the talent of these girls!! Thank you so much for allowing my camp to be a part of your child's summer.

Fun "Fairy" Filled Day!

We all dream of fairies!!
Fairies under glass...fairies floating in hearts...fairies on a royal crown...fairy notebooks and book clips...ooh boy!

Today we focused on FAIRIES!! We used vintage style fairies and made them a big part of our day. The girls in morning and afternoon classes enjoyed using paints, inks, and dazzling "bling bling" in their creations.

We even named each fairy!

Tomorrow will be our last day...boohoo!
We will celebrate FRIENDSHIP all day. We'll be very busy doing "round robin" projects. A "round robin" is a project that is shared with others. You will be amazed at what the girls create.

We will be enjoying little "tea cakes" during both sessions.

For those staying for lunch...
Tea Sandwiches
Pretty Potato Sticks
Yogurt Covered Pretzels and Tart Watermelon Candies

Enjoy the photos from today!

Scrapbooks Galore!!

We were all SUPERCHARGED on day three of Art Camp! We worked like little bees making our fabulous scrapbooks. Morning class did a two ringed book with darling paper torn flowers on the cover. Afternoon did a little needle work, using a gathering technique to make shabby roses. They put that flower on their heart shaped scrapbook. Both classes filled their books with wonderful photo memories. They backed each photo and journaled about the person/event. The rings were covered with ribbons of choice.

For those staying for lunch tomorrow:
Mini Egg Rolls
Sticky Rice
Chocolate Covered Pretzels with Sprinkles

Snack for All Sessions:
Honey Comb Cereal Mix

Day Two...Something New!

Morning Session:
Pretties were made from blank wood pieces using paints, inks, stamps, and BIG creativity! We were so busy making charms for our leather charm bracelets and necklaces, that we didn't have much time to work on our sketches! Tomorrow is another day.

Lunch Tomorrow for those staying will be...

Pizza Bites
Carrots and Dip
Fruit
Moon Pies

Snack for both sessions will be Fruity Cereal Mix

Please bring 6-8 photos for tomorrow!! We will need them for scrapbook day!

Afternoon Session:
We were working hard all afternoon decorating wooden charms with paints, inks, and stamps. We learned out to attach charms to a silver chain bracelet with jump rings and jewelry tools. We created gorgeous jewel boxes with stamped images and a little "bling bling" on top. We took a little time to make one darling fairy girl named "Grace."
